Who should participate?
- Start-up projects or social enterprise already in operation up to 3 years, and
- Investment amount sought in the range of HK$500,000 to HK$2,000,000, and
- The applicant must be the owner/chief manager of the project with or without any affiliations to an NGO. Projects which have received previous funding from any other sources can also apply.
What needs to be submitted?
(in either English or Chinese language to be sent by email to sif.proposal@gmail.com by 21 October 2009)
1. One page executive summary (please refer to the guidelines);
2. A business proposal of not more than 20 pages including appendices; and
3. A set of PowerPoint of no more than 20 slides
Important dates to note
October 21 — deadline for submitting the executive summary, business proposal and PowerPoint
November 9 — notification of result of 3 projects selected for presentation on November 14
November 13 & 14 — International Symposium (Applicants are strongly recommended to enroll)
November 13 — A Dinner to Remember: Dialogue with Leading Social Entrepreneurs (Applicants are strongly recommended to enroll)
November 14 afternoon -- Social Investment Forum

徵求社會企業投資計劃書
誰可參與？
- 剛創業或運作不超過三年的社會企業；及
- 業務計劃所需資金在港幣$500,000 至 $2,000,000 之間；及
- 申請人必須是項目的東主或負責人，他們不一定與志願團體有聯繫。曾經獲得其他資助的社企亦可申請。
投資計劃書需要包括什麼？
（中文或英文投資計劃書須於2009年10月21日或以前電郵至sif.proposal@gmail.com）
1. 不多於一頁的摘要 (請參考撰寫摘要指引)；
2. 投資計劃書（包括附錄，不多於20頁）；及
3. PowerPoint （不多於20頁）
